Let The Adventure Begin

Tomorrow is the big day, time to hit the road. The planning is complete and the packing is almost done. The first day plan is to leave our home around 7:00 Friday afternoon, drive all night and arrive in Sioux Falls, South Dakota Saturday afternoon. We hope to be in Kansas City, Missouri for lunch at Arthur Bryant’s Bar-B-Q on Saturday. This will be another stop in our search for the best Bar-B-Q in America. We are always open to suggestions of where to eat, so feel free to post a comment of your favorite places. This first leg of the Alaska RoadTrip will cover 1510 miles so I don’t think any of us will have a problem sleeping Saturday night. We will post information and pictures each day on where we have been, interesting things along the way and places where we have eaten and stayed. We will try and give an honest review of accommodations and restaurants we visit during this trip. The next post will be Saturday, May 19th. We hope you enjoy following along on our Alaska adventure.
